Oversight Committee Selection
In November, Doral voters approved the Doral Parks for Tomorrow Bond to fund the construction of high-priority future city-wide park projects. With the community’s clear message that parks are a top priority, the work has begun to ensure that these important projects are delivered in the same effective, efficient, and transparent manner our residents have come to know and expect. One of the first steps is establishing the Oversight Committee.
Pursuant to Sec. 3.14. of the City of Doral Charter, members of boards and agencies shall be appointed by the Mayor. As such, Mayor Christi Fraga invited members of the community that are interested in being a part of this Oversight Committee.
During the February 8, 2023 Council Meeting, the Mayor and City Council approved the creation of an Oversight Committee and the appointment of the Oversight Committee per Reso No. 19-70.
